We will provide you with
a login name and password when you sign-up for an
account with us. Let us take the following as an
example:

Step 1
Launch
the WS_FTP application and you should have the following
window on your screen:

Fill
in following fields:

Profile
Name: www.abc.com

Host
Name/Address: www.abc.com

User
ID: userid

Password:
1234 (It will show stars instead of
what you are typing. That's to prevent someone from
looking over you shoulder and finding out your
password)

Account:
- Leave this box empty -
Put
a check on the "Save Pwd" and it
will save your password. The next time you use
WS_FTP95LE, you need not have to type in the password.
If you share your computer with someone else you may not
want to check it. Lastly, make sure that you DO NOT
check on the box stated "Anonymous".
Here's
what your account will look like with your information:
Click
on the OK button to connect to the FTP
site.
Step

You'll
see a window that looks something like this:
In the left hand side window is the contents of your
computer. On the right hand side window are the contents
of your home directory on our server. This is also
similar to what you should see when your are ready to
upload.
Step

Select
the files for uploading on the left hand side of your
computer. Now click on the button with the arrow
pointing to the right that is in the middle of the
window. Your files will then be automatically uploaded
and appear in the right hand side window.
Here
is how it looks:
Congratulations! You've just uploaded your first file.
Now all that is left to do is to click on
"Close" to disconnect from the web server.
